Corporate Paralegal – Contract law -Private Construction Co.
Our client an industrial construction company (south Edm.) is looking for a Paralegal to join their Contracts department to work on construction contracts with their clients & vendors.
Responsibilities will include:
• Assists in the development of contract management activities, from the request for proposal to contract close-out;
• Participates in the contract reporting activities of management;
• Develops procedures and systems and implementing corporate policies;
• Reviews and edits bids on major contract awards.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Legal Assistant Diploma or Business Degree with a minimum of five years experience at the senior level.
• Contract Law
• Assisted on related files for Construction Industrial or Commercial is an asset
• Extensive practical and working knowledge of contract practices and regulations;
• Extensive experience in preparation and monitoring of contracts;
• Experience in MS Office Package;
• Strong coordination and organization skills;
• High attention to detail and accuracy;
• Determination to set and manage priorities to meet all deadlines;
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Additional duties pertaining to the corporation as required.
This is an immediate full-time opportunity, 40 hour week (flexible)
